Inside the vandal proof housing is a High Resolution 560TVL Sony™ CCD camera with an Auto-Iris Vari Focal 2.8 ~ 11mm lens & Samsung Super Digital Noise Reduction. The AutoIris lens can be used in conditions of varying light such as outdoors or inconsistent indoor lighting. The varifocal adjustment means the installer can adjust the focal length of the lens to suit his application. Other features include automatic white balance, automatic backlight compensation, as well as a wide input voltage range. Applications for this dome include monitoring of unattended areas such as passageways, underground parking, stairwells, night clubs, shopping centres and any other area where the camera may be damaged or vandalised.
